Dear All,

I am wondering how to search for the G83, G59 approved inverters??
As for MCS pannels, I can search on the web of MCS. is there any web with such similiar function?? or any council, association responsible for this G83,G59???

Anybody knows this??

Thank you!

Alex

All grid tie inverters on sale in the UK must be G83 or G59 approved - or it is illegal to fit them unless you go to the extra cost of a one-off special.

Its up to you to check , we've had a noncompliant inverter, supplied to us as a substitute to the one we asked for which was unavailable at the time ,supplier assured us it had G83 ticket, but when we checked found this was wrong, so we sent it back at their expense
Incidently this firm told us they had shifted loads of this model so makes you wonder how many were fitted and whether DNO 's rejected commisioning docs!

Hi the two above,
Thnaks for your attention and sorry for my unknowing your names.
However, I still do not know the web that I can search whether the manufacturer get G83 or not.
Anyway, thanks!
Alex

as far as I'm aware there is no central database listing G83 inverters ,asked DNO when i first started pv and they said there is a register of compliant models ,where i don't know .so do your own checking by first finding out from manufacturer ,they'll have a download for G83 certificates

I don't know of any central web based information but every manufacture website should have the G83 or 59 certificate as a PDF. May be even via your supplier web site.
