Hi

I recently fitted an ideal logic combi and now the customer would like a room stat fitted. I bought a danfoss rx1 but cannot seem to get it to work. Ive taken the link out of the boiler and wired those terminals to n and l in the receiver but it didnt work? Any help would be much appreciated.

Is it the wireless stat version?

If so take a live/neutral to the receiver (either from load side of the switched spur or from the boiler mains connections) , and from terminals 2 & 3 take a two core flex to the connections in the boiler where the link was.

Or use 4/5 core flex instead of 2 x 2 cores.

YES!! .... a much more elegant solution!

Nowt worse than seeing two bits of 3 core sticky taped together and flapping in the breeze.
