Hi folks,

I have done b*ggar all wiring during my training. When wiring using singles how would you wire a circuit that has a switch, PIR/PD and a few lights. A diagram would also be useful if at all possible.

Hopefully one day this wiring malarky will click into place and I'll finally understand it !

The switch would be used to bypass the PIR if you wanted to turn off the lights.
Depends on the light fiting/PIR, if the light fitting and PIR are combined then they can be wired per any other light accessory. Normally then turning the light on, off and on again, will override the PIR/timer keeping the light on. Turning the light off for about 5 secs, then on (or just on) will activate the PIR (timer if there is one).

That will work fine as long as the Pirs use relay switching, some don't.
