I have got an electric towel rail and wall controller, could somebody say how I should wire this up? I have a socket point just outside of my bathroom, can this supply be used?

Hi Draco. Welcome to the forum. What does the manufacturers manual say? What is the make and model of the towel rail?

I must be going mad in my old age ..

On the main forum, with this thread being the last one to be commented and with the thread title being to long for the homepage it read "How to wire an electrical..."

Then it had the last person who commented underneath the thread title ... "Spoon"

... "How to wire an electrical spoon" - genuinely opened this thread without realising and was was intrigued to know what an electric spoon was.

Roll on friday, bring me the pub, I'm losing the plot!

it's bloody obvious. you wire the spoon directly into the knives of the isolator.

I'm surprised you haven't told the OP that he needs to wire it to a 12V supply Tel.... :)

Back to the OP - do you have any electrical knowledge, competence, test equipment?

The circuit you want to add it to - can you specify the type of circuit, the installation earthing type and whether you have bonding and RCD protection in place?

OP if you need to ask then you need to look in the yellow pages for a electrical company to install it for you, its not a diy job i am sorry to say, it shouldnt be an expensive job and your life or your family lives are worth more

I don't think the OP is coming back. I think all the comments about cutlery have scared him away.
