I am wondering if someone can help me I have received a quote for some Electrical work on a house I am renting out
the quote is listed below, what I know about electrics I could write on a post it note? Can anyone advise?
Please find my quotation for Electrical remedial works required after carrying out my inspection and report today
1. Socket Circuit, circuit breaker to ground floor and 1st floor require down rating due to the number of spurs found on the circuit
2. Bathroom light requires an enclosed fitting due to the location of the light and bath
3. Shower switch requires replacing due to heat damage, and earth found disconnected in the switch, requires reconnecting, further testing to be carried out, and if any additional works are to be done provide quotation
4. Ceiling rose top of stairs requires re fixing
5. Circuits 1,2,3, at mains require rcd protection, by individual rcbo’s
6. Switch id required to lighting circuit
7. Socket at mains wired from lighting circuit requires labelling
8. Installation of mains/ battery back up heat and smoke detectors required complete with wireless radio base
9. Completion of satisfactory certificate
Total cost of work would amount to £758.01
