HV authorised person training

Does anybody know of a HVAP training provider in the south? Company wants to send me on residential one up north but can't leave family down here.

I went on the Scottish Power HV course because they are the DNO up here, so you could try your local DNO and see if they run a similar course.

I went to Develop Training in York about 7 years ago but I believe they also have an office in Swindon.

What do you mean ''but can't leave family down here''?? Why can't you ??? Your company is prepared to spend literally thousands of pounds to get you trained to HV-AP level, and you're getting your knickers in a twist about leaving the family for what will be around 5 days, or maybe more, depending on what course or combination of courses being taken.... Even if the residential duration is 10 day's, nothing to stop you going home for the weekend FFS...

Opportunities like this don't come along too often in this day and age, so grab it while you can, ...and with both hands!!
