hwo to sizing gen set for my motor

I'm planning to install one set hydro generator to supply to my 3p, 7.5Hp 415 volt motor. I've a replica stream at my pond which is i found suitable to install the paddle wheel at the stream. The generator will be powered by paddle wheel connected via belting. I got two motor with same spec. One with D.O.L and the other one star delta. How do i find the sizing procedure for generator set?. hellp

I believe that you will find that this is illegal, and not under electrical laws & regulations unless you have applied and been granted permission.

As Paul said this is a can of worms sometimes best left unopened.

Tony a respected member on here posted some information concerning water generation like this and it seemed to be a real pitfall.
