I am hearing electric sparks going behind the boiler!

Hi,

A client just rang me and said, "I am hearing electric sparks going behind the boiler!" Upon questioning she said that she only hear but not see anything and the sparking is intermittent.

Could someone tell me what could cause this - I am going there this evening; help!

It may be the burner flame ignition, that cuts in & out intermittently.......

That's what I thought. Sounded like a probem more with the boiler than electrical. I have already advised them to call in a boiler guy.

I didn't want to look like a fool to go there all the way and find the boiler was the culprit.
