hi there i am starting my own company and i have just bought a new tyre machine my unit has single phase but the machine is 3 phase with 4 wires black blue brown yellow and green on the side of motor it has v-220/380 now can i use this in my unit and if so how do i go by doing it please help as losing money now with it not working

You'll probably end up either replacing the motor with a single phase equivalent or upgrading the electrical supply in your unit to 3-phase.

Can you attach a snap shot of the motor? If not what is the kilowatt rating and rpm? Maybe a make and model number.

Or possibly you might be able to use a Single > 3Phase converter box, but that'll depend a bit on the device and how chunky the motor is for the cost... As others have said, a single phase motor may be an easier conversion.

a single phase motor should cost you around £100ish, max. then you'll need somebody to get the right one and fit it. probably another £100ish.

would this do it IMO Jaguar VXS Single to 3 Phase Inverter 0.75KW
Single phase to 3 phase inverter 0.75KW

Removed from working control panel

Comes mounted on heatsink with built in line filter

If you go the inverter route I would suggest oversizing it to acommodate the start current and the fact it's an AC3 load with less than idea power factor.
