The pic shows feeds to a socket and light fitting in a kitchen,I replaced the original wiring and spent hours trying to find another cable route without success. It looks like the kitchen has been extended at some point and the remaining concrete lintel is stopping anything but limmited access from below.

thats a bit of a snooker, you could notch the beams and fill in,just leaves a bit under the lintel, which you cant do anything about, but may show you done the maximum possible..or chip away plaster and fit a bit of channel under lintel, dont do domestic so just a guess really

concrete beam supporting wall above, wouldn't want to disturb structure above by channeling it. cutting plasterboard then channel and replaster maybe the way though alarm man.
at least its artext so it wont matter how bad my plastering is.

Just remember you're an electrician, not a magician! I have been to jobs where no matter how hard I look, how many different cable routes I go through in my head, without SERIOUS works (i.e. expensive - customer won't agree), there is no easy way forward. Sometimes doing your best is enough.

How rough is that!!!! art ex
Not as rough as the stuff that ran down the stair wall in our last house, stuck out 1/2 inch in some places with some very pointy bits. Never staggered down those stairs drunk...

Nothing wrong with that method, easy enough to patch up with a bit of baton and the original cut outs.
