Hi, I am new here and wanted to offer my help with anyone who needs any help or advice concerning Gu10 led's as I sell thousands of them every week.
Feel free to pm or thread.

Hi Tony, I am not spamming, nor do i intend to, it was an electrician off here that told me to come on and share my knowledge. I intend to also sponsor the site at some stage. if I post anything you feel is spam please delete it, but I do not intend to I am simply offering help

Welcome to the site Please feel free to contact DAN or any of the other mods re sponsership of site
Advice time REFRAINE from posting any more "Adverts" how ever disguised they may be as forum orginisers take a very dim view of this and not following the advice will probably result in banning and as you say you want to offer advice ect that wouldnt benefit anyone
Good Luck hope to see your banner on the side soon

What about a list to give equivalent light output of LED's compared to tungsten, diochrilic and compact fluorescent lamps etc.
That would be useful to everyone, thanks

Average lifespan of Tungsten 1500-2000 although there are some now that will do upto 6000 hours
Average lifespan of Compact flourescent 12000 hours
Average lifespan of gu10 led 30000-50000 hours
Light output will depend on which specific type you require.

LED and emergency lighting, whats the market? Also you get Fluorescents, GU10, 2d, pl what else can you get?

i can get anything, but I specialise in gu10 led.

Led and emergency lighting, there is an article in last months lighting magazine on this which I can reccomend, we will see Most emergency lighting using led technology in the very near future.

Iv just shown the Distric manager for large hotel chain the cost comparison calculator on my fav site (halers) lol he nearly had kittens when I showed him the savings that could be made just by changing a few lights in public areas as these are generaly on 24/7 n

yep its huge, we do 4.5w bulbs that replace 50w halogens, i fitted 200 in a shop and the guys electricity bills came down so much he paid for the bulbs in 3 months..lol

It looks like you mainly sell the SMD ones ? not my cup of tea personally but they're good if you want an uncontrolled flood of light over a large area. Do you have any technical information and photometric data sheets for your products ?

Also, by your own admission, you are importing these (as I'd expect to be honest) - I presume they are all CE Marked (the real CE Mark, not "China Export") and as the importer you hold verified DoCs for these?

rsmck

they are indeed Ce and Rohs marked and certified and I do hold the relevant docs, i am buying from one of the biggest producers of them.

i actually researched these bulbs and companies for 6 months before purchasing any, and decided to go with the most reliable company with the best quality product and credentials.

I have all the data sheets if required.

i am surprised at the attitude of people towards me on here, I was reccomended by an electrician to come on and offer any help and advice, however everyone seems to think I am either here to spam or cause trouble or selling dodgy bulbs, it is not the reaction I was expecting.

Also I have contacted the admin twice about potentially advertising on here, and have had no reply.

i think I will give this forum a miss as I am not wanted here for whatever reason.

kind regards

Andy

i want to replace my current gu10 halogens - 25w - with led's, what do you recommend, bearing in mind i do not wish to pay £10 per lamp!

To be honest personally I'd recommend you don't ... you get what you pay for with LED and although you don't need the brightest if you're only replacing 25w (a warm white 3W LED would probably suffice) you're still looking at over £10 per lamp for the decent units. Also do you need them to be dimmable?, if so this will add to the cost of them.

What is your reason for wanting to change to LED - if it's energy efficiency then the cost saving will most probably pay for the outlay of the lamps themselves in a relatively short time.
