You got the drawings? Start jotting down every last piece you need the send to 3 wholesalers for prices and then add up how long it will take you to do it at you houly rate and other workers you have wth you.. And then double.

i have started the job already, iv been on it two weeks and its taken two people two weeks upto now and im about to start testing the job. i was thinking £30 an hour. materials has cost me £4000 abouts

Cant believe you have started a job without agreeing a price! I had a woman the other week who told me to just start it so I said im too busy to jump straight on it and priced it instead, the total for job would be £3700 and she turned round and said I only had £1500 in the pot for it! Hope your client doesnt turn round and argue the cost with you mate

I've been in both camps on this one and both had the money to pay up , even more fortunately I got paid at regular intervals which was extremely handy.

I have been lucky with my clients so far, I wouldn't recommend starting any electrical job without agreeing a price beforehand.

by my reconing you have prob about £5000 in labour already! + more labour for testing + £4000 materials so prob about £10,000
and you have not talked about cost?
i hope it is not but this could be an expensive lesson on your part!
