Hi all , I know that you are allowed to do like for like in your own home Ie change a wall light etc.

I have an issue with one double plug thats on a ring main. The wires are very short and after tiler tiled the wall I can not get plug back on as the wires are now too short.

Ive been told to ext using (wago connectors) or to fit a chapter 15 junction box

Can anyone please help ?

You can extend them using Wago connectors and the correct size wires.

I thought as much but wasn't sure. Wago are noted to be 32amp but I keep reading they were downgraded to 20 for some reason. This plug is on a ring and read it needs to be 32amp . Are they the push fit ones or the lever ones you refer to ? Many thanks.
