I&T - Annoying myself.....help

I've noticed a recurring thing with me and I&T (IV mainly), I trip up on testing.

OSG and GN3 give you the process step but step BUT what it doesn't do is individual layout the process for each type of circuit:
  • Radial
  • RFC
  • Lighting

Not every circuit will need every test but the second I look at the record of testing, for whatever reason, my head goes to mush.

Ive tried following the sequence as laid out in the books and going by the answer but is till struggled.

Does anyone (or can help put together) A Sequence of testing that lists each circuit type and the tests to be performed, e.g.

Lighting
1. End to End Continuity of;
Rn Neutral
R1 Line
R2 CPC

2. Insulation Resistence;
L-L (R1 -R1)
N-N (Rn - Rn)

Radial
1. End to End Continuity of;
Rn Neutral
R1 Line
R2 CPC

2. Insulation Resistence;
L-L (R1 -R1)
N-N (Rn - Rn)

3. RFC.......

Etc, hopefully you get the idea? It's such a basic thing but it's really getting to me that Im struggling and I can't for the life of me put the OSG GN3 info into a format that I understand clearly and can work with.

I'd draw your attention to this thread:-

Post number 3.

It's a document I wrote that I would call my testing cheat sheet, but it has lots of other useful nuggets on there as well :)

Ironically I have that, I just hadn't taken it from the theory folder to the practical folder (I use 2 fileboxes; one for theory (H&S, Sciences etc) and one for practical (with OSG, Student guide to regs & GN3 in).

Will print another copy, I think a trip point for me is rn r1 r2 and RN R1 R2 aren't the same thing and that trips me up.

Just need to try and think lighting circuit ≜ radial circuits.
