OOOOOO what did you get? Let's have a pic of it
Last time we went to see R E M we went by bus and there was a guy across the aisle from us who had made his own. Twas a thing of beauty and played like a dream

It's a Yamaha GC built in 1985. Perfect condition and the tone is superb. I've been hunting for one that sounds this good for acouple of years and I finally found the right one. As I explained to the wife, you just can't put a price on a piece of craftsmanship that sounds that good.

A mate of mine has a Yam APX6 electro acoustic which is a fantastic guitar, I played a few weeks back at a pub with it. I'd even go so far as to say it's as good as if not better than my Takamine

I have to say that the higher end Yamahas are often underrated especially if you find a good one. I've owned a few hand made guitars that have cost three or four times what the Yamahas do and often they don't sound as good, you're just paying for a name.

Even the bottom end Yams are great guitars for the price, my mate got his son a Pacifica last christmas and for less than ÂŁ150 it's a hell of a thing considering.

I have one of these, Yam SL 380 30 years old. My brother bought it in Japan, obviously a copy but by christ it growls just like the real thing

That's really pretty, I'd love to hear how it sounds
