Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can help me?

I've just moved into a house with an Ideal Classic FF350 boiler. I can't work the damn thing! I've set the hot water to the constant - which is fine. Does anyone know how I get the heating on?? I've set the left hand button to constant + put the clock on both timer (by putting the hands towards the outside of the dial) and I've put the timer to contstantly on and neither seem to get the heating to kick in. It has worked - but I'm not sure how?

Really sorry I know this is very basic, but I'm sure there is a simple solution....

Cheers, Kerry
