Are the safe isolation procedures as indicated on page 50, 75, 77, 79, and test procedures acceptable in the exam, i would like to think so as thats what the books for, yes? It says nothing on page 50 about posting a notice.
Also does GS38 only cover test equipment for live testing.
Think i found this one out, i understand a low resitance ohmmeter does not need to comply because it only makes use of ELV during testing, where as all others produce or are testing voltage above 50v ac or 120v dc, ( i hope) , what about an rcd tester though?
Just notied p78 RCD test, mentions nothing about safety regarding the potential created during the test.
Is it a insulation resistance tester (GN3, p38) or insulation resistance ohmmeter (GN3, p83)
Not sure if i am overthinking, or panicing, or even being a numpty.
