hi guys

just about to start an electrical course and I need various IET books. 18th ed regs, on site guide ect.

could anyone advise where to look for decent price?

regards

Just search around on the interweb and look for the best prices. There isn’t much variation but there are packages that include 18th and OSG etc.

Just be careful with a well known major on-line retailer .
I always bought my books from the IET, but elected for a cheaper yellow 17th edition from the jungle seller . The pages started parting company from the centre within six months; lesson learned.

One of the forum sponsors 'Test-Meter.co.uk' do a BBB & OSG for £95.50, which looks like a good deal.

I just went with dodgey sellers on Amazon for my 17th edition stuff, I guess 18th edition books being newer will just be more expensive.

I got BS7671 the big yellow book for about 20 squid, same for yellow on-site guide, same for yellow guidance note 3.

Depending how you look at it I either did well on price cos 17th edition stuff was on it's way out, or got screwed cos the 18th edition was on it's way in.
