Is it just me or has anyone else noticed something going on here?I am referring of course to becoming an Arms member,recently there was a post inviting new members to apply for arms membership after they had made a certain number of posts,I have made hundreds of what I would like to think are mostly usefull and informative posts and yet despite having made several requests have been denied arms membership.If this is because I am retired then I think we need another section for retired sparks where we can discuss things out of the view of general public.as regards proof that I was a spark then I think the quality of my posts speak for themselves .

I can't think of any reason why you would be refused mate, there's guys allowed in with a far lesser contribution than you have made.

no mate,just asked the question and was told to supply details on find a spark asked what to do with being retired and no response,it,s just there seems to be more joe public on open forum these days and less and less interesting stuff being as how they just want to know stuff a lot of them shouldn,t be playing with.

Unless there are extreme circumstances as to why you cannot have access then there is no reason why you cannot apply.

The forum is open to everyone although some areas are 'members only'

Normally they will let anyone into The Arms, but if you read the small print (exclusions section) M6 J23 area stand no chance

Imho there is no reason why a retired spark with a good amount of quality posts can't be let in the Arms. Let's have Phils name in red.
