If we did this...

At a clients house today to wire his Y-Plan. I decided to put in a 1-way db as there was nowhere to pick up a supply due to me not wanting to lift laminate flooring...:o
Directly below the boiler, cylinder etc was the dno cut out so I thought no problem, a couple of henley blocks and the jobs a good un. When I looked closer, the dno had changed the wiring from overhead TT to an underground TT system. To save them having to put the cut out in a new place, they used a concentric cable into the db ( about 20ft away) and joined it without the use of , well, anything really...apart from some tape!!!:eek::eek:
Contacted DNO and they basically said tough...as did british gas (supplier) and some meter firm that I cant remember.
Nice to see they maintain a high standard of workmanship...not! IMG-20110514-00027.jpg

The reason why we bother is because we are professionals , at the mo ,ESC have some photographs of an install where it was dangerouse and BG changed the meter and didnt advice the occupier , what i would do is to forward the picture to the ESC , its about time they were brought to town for there actions
