Something between 0.75 and 25mm…..🙂

Profile says you have 2391, so this should be straightforward…if you’ve got your 18th to hand. But maybe you don’t have much experience with 3ph stuff??

Have a think…

What size of cable would you need for single phase 45A?

Does 3ph rating mean 3 TIMES 45, or does it mean 45 ACROSS 3 phases? (Ie, 15 each)

Figure that out, then go into the 18th Ed tables for volt drop, and install method.

IS the OP certain that its 45amp per phase , as that is one huge fryer

Most catering fryers that I have wired up were roughly 13amps per phase and were wired in 2.5

With the skyrocketing price of leccy I am surprised schools aren't taking out all the high consumption appliances and just serve sandwiches and fruit

I think we're all fairly sure that this will turn out to be a 10kw / 13.5A/ph size of device, the only thing I find worrying is that this should be challenging to someone with 2391 under their belt.
