immersion stat

has anyone come across immersion stat that actually fits onto the element where you connect both L & N onto the terminals. Not easy to locate and cost 3 times normal

Yep there is a couple of mega flow systems French I thing one is a a ceramic element the other is a thermostat that plugs into the immersion will have a look one is an Atlantic system they have stopped trading the other Cotherm

Thanks for that these were Ariston E 7 cylinder ended up replacing the element whilst on site to get over problem. Went to 4 local merchants inc plumbing blank looks on all

just googled, plumb center best bet by the look of it, local wholesaler had quoted £40 plus vat so result here thanks

£15 on web at Plumb Centre had two to do recently managed to adapt to suit new type of stats but worth keeping one seem to be getting a few of these recently.
Seems new stuff comes out doesnt take off and then spares are like getting hold of the old rocking horse stuff

Snowhead is this the same as the cotherm unit COTHERM - TSE-TSR

They seem to have the same type of plug in stat only thing is the Cotherm is £36 when the Ariston £15 or do you know anybody who does know about these
