is it in the new regs, about the double sockets having dual earthed terminals for computers due to high earth leakage current? does it not apply anymore in the 17th?

Luke it used to be a 'special installation' under the old regs in Part 6 (got a feeling it was section 607) and has now been subsumed into the main body of the regs (Easy fox is probably correct, aint got the regs on me;))

i'm also almost certain that nothing in the reg about this has changed

they've done the same with highway supplies and street furniture which has gone into the new 559 - Luminaires and lighting

cheers easy fox, just lookin at the old reg "607-02-05" (yeah your rite shakey ;) ) and the new one listed above by the fox, but is there any mention of information technology equipment in the new regs, like the old : (a) information technology equipment complying with bs en 60950

cheers
