Incredible price for supply and install

I've just seen this on another forum. How desperate for work are people getting? £1600 for a gas heating system supplied and installed.

I've just been to a quote, someone has offered to supply and fit a 9 rad system for £1600 Inc Vat. (no existing) I told her politely that I won't be wasting my time measuring up and quoting, see ya __________________ I want to be an engineer when I grow up

Lets hope this is the bottom and as the Bank of England is indicating we're on the way out of recession otherwise we're going to have serious problems surviving past the next 6 months.
