Industry Accreditation (IA) CSCS Cards Can No Longer Be Renewed - From TTA
Since 30th June 2024, cards carrying the CSCS logo obtained via Industry Accreditation can no longer be renewed. Any cards remaining will expire by 31st December 2024 and cannot be replaced using IA. This change is designed to meet industry requirements the Construction Leadership Council’s recommendations that all construction industry card schemes must operate with nationally recognised qualifications in place for all occupations.
CSCS provides tailored guidance designed to help Blue, Gold and Black Industry Accreditation cardholders move onto an appropriate card.
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) are providing short qualification grants to support CITB-registered employers who are up to date with levy returns achieve recognised qualifications. This includes:
Short qualification grants are not available to support individual achievements that form part of other longer qualifications. CITB recommend seeing the Long qualification grant page or Apprenticeship grants page for details.

- NVQ at Levels 2 and above and SCQF at Levels 5 and above
- National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
- Plant-related vocational qualification (VQ) achievements
- Additional units related to the Level 2 Plant Operations VQ
