Hi all,

Im taking the course in 6 weeks for my work, can anyone offer some advice on what sort of stuff to revise, obviously testing/results etc what about fault finding etc? what sort of questions do they ask in the exam? is there a written part? any advice for that? and the practical exam?

any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

As mentioned the whole exam is based on Guidance note 3.
Theres various YouTube videos you can also watch and Chris Kitcher has a series of videos which go along to a book he's written.
"Practical guide to testing and inspection".

20 odd years ago Chris taught me the regulation side of part 2 (2360) he was a very good lecturer and has a more practical way of explaining things which I found helpful.
I've not read the book but I've heard its very good !!

The coding part is all down to experience and knowing whether something is right or wrong. Remember some pics have no faults.
