Hi guys I hope you'll help me on this one.
I've got an inspection and testing exam tomorrow and the day after . Looking at the drawing I can see the 30 mA RCD with the extension CU but no RCD for the shower on the main installation CU.As far as I know according BS7671 an 30 mA RCD or less is needed for fixed electrical equipment located in zone 1 of a bathroom or shower. Is it something that I have to point out and recommend an RCD installation or no RCD is Ok and complies with the regs.
Any opinion will be appreciated very much.
Thank's :)

I would look at the installation in reality and see if there is RCD protection for the shower; it would need 30mA RCD protection to meet the current regulations, if it were an older installation then so long as supplementary bonding is in place and disconnection times are met then it would only need improvement but could pass an inspection.

One thing I would point out if you're doing an exam:
The requirement to provide 30mA RCD protection for fixed electrical equipment located in zone 1 of a bathroom or shower was in the 16th.
The 17th now requires 30mA RCD protection for all 'low voltage' circuits of a location containing a bath or shower.
