Never heard of it. But cant possibly see how someone can tell you how long it will take to install something. I have in the past done a CU swap in 40 minutes, today i did one that took 9 hours, on both occasions i had completed the PIR prior so it was just a straight forward changeover with a bit of testing. I would be interested to see what the Installation time for a 15 outgoing way dual split high integrity board, 12 MCB's on 2 RCD banks, and 3 RCBO's, and having to extend 9 of the circuits, fitting new tails and bonding cables.

Cheers.............Howard

I started as an estimator and the Luckins was the only way of having an up to date price on all things electrical-every week new sheets had to be inserted into the massive file and the file itself sat on it's own steel stand on my desk!

The times are used across the industry, especially in the preparation of schedules of rates.

It's the only way of pricing massive installations, break down the materials and multiply the quantities by the time allowed against each task

There is literally a time for everything, from fitting a socket outlet (0.33 of an hour) to pulling in a metre of 6491-x.

Mr sirkit breaker i do agree with u! thats why im after some info before i fork out for something useless that i wont really use....again. but im intrigued and looking to make life easier all same.

Mr IQ, so is it worth the 100 quid or so? and do they send out the update sheets for free or do u need to buy them off your own back also, is there an electronic version?
