I've had an inquiry come in today for a PV and ST installation in Harrow. I'm not interested in traveling so would like to pass the lead on.

And then you have to do a trip to Scotland to swap a part. You can't have it both ways, running all over the country to install and then not expecting to go back and fault fix - these costs need to be included in quote, else it's the road to ruin.

Well at least I am treating long distance customer the same as local.

do you not think I know if I install long distance there is not a chance there may be a fault ?

Faults happen If I did the job , I sort it asap local or 4 hours away.

the money used to be in the jobs ...... however its not anymore

@MEP, yep I know, it's just that some will not do that follow up - we have some sites 500 mile round trip, and they get the same level of service as the job 2 miles away. Mind you they are at least 50kW sites
