Hey,
I'd like to ask for help, what should I use to avoid the side mirror turn signal warning?
I recently installed dynamic side mirror turn signals on my Audi A4 B8 2009, has been getting an error since (for both sides). I was thinking about installing a can-bus resistor kit on the sockets. What should I get? Does the resistance rating matter? Is 50W 6R8 resistor gonna work? Thanks

might be better posting on a Audi (owners) forum. all we know about Audis is we don't flash them through .let the buggers wait.

and for the pc brigade, we're not discriminatory. same applies to BMWs.

Why you worried it's well known that Audi, Mercedes and BMW drivers don't know what indicators are for.

As an aside but quite important. I take it that you have informed your insurance company that you have modified the car.

this is quite important in the U.K. as you may not be covered in an accident especially if it was someone didn’t see your signal

In fact I did not. I'm not from U.K. but I'll take a look at the insurance company policy to read about that. The new indicators are much brighter than the originals, I don't see how someone wouldn't notice it haha

Back to the thread, I measured the resistance on original turn signals which is 1kΩ. Most can-bus resistor kits online I could find are ~6Ω. I wonder if such low resistance is enough to make the can-bus system think everything is fine?
