I am buying proposing to buy some picture lights from a US supplier and would like to wire them into a 5 Amp lighting circuit. Is this possible or do i have to use some sort of voltage converter. I was planning to use UK bulbs rather than the US one supplied.

Help appreciated

you can but check the lamp type ( you will have to buy 230v equvilant) if its a metal fitting make sure its earthed
