insulation resistance

Hey, need a little help,tncs, power off main earth and neutral disconnected from board, did insulation resistance between n and earth, kept getting 0.16 reading, i have a fault, i wonder is a cable nicked....

What type of circuit you testing?

all of them went between all earth and n bar, everything plugged out, cheers

Got fluorescent light fittings on the circuit was all I was thinking about...

so dis. each circuit in turn from CU terminals and find out which one is giving the poor reading

Is about all you can do to locate the fault

> 2megohms on each circuit.

at least 2megaohms, none less than five

ideally, >99meg. ( that's the max. on my 1552)
