Insulation resistence

Was wondering at what point (in ohms) a continuity tester (say Fluke T30) would stop getting a bell sound.
was thinking about 200,000 ohms

Just looked on my T5 and it says 1K

so must be the norm I suppose

thoughts anyone

varies from tester to tester. some are as low as 30 ohms.

Its the parents fault,but its "resistance". This would not trouble me normally ,only for my recent catastrophy concerning my operation to remove an unwanted panis.:joker:
