I have never really bothered with this, but I done ajob for a niebour talk about slow payers, any one else feel they are a bunch of arses, I will not be quoting for any more soon

best way is to get the customer to pay you and claim back from his insurers. you know that insurance companies are extremely quick to take your money, but emulate tortoises when it comes to giving some back.

depends... sounds like you went direct, I do alot of work as a mercenary for an insurance building company. He has to wait months for payment and I get paid (sometimes up front before job complete! Yes! there are builders like that and ones who you can build a trusting relationship with!) very quickly.

But boyt does he moan about all the money going out and none coming in..... but then when it does I guess it's 50k here, 22k there....not £350 for a damp kitchen refit :D
 
I won't do work directly for insurance companies anymore. They give you the runaround summat chronic and take forever to pay.
If anyone wants insurance work carried out I say they are my client and must pay direct and they must deal with the insurance company.
