Hi all,
I got some great feedback the other day regarding the installation of some TP + N, RCD protected sockets. One of the sockets will be supplying an old forklift charger. I just wondered if I should be installing a type A RCD on this? I can't get any info from manufacturer as its too old and can't find anything on google. Does anyone know if these things are likely to leak any DC current back through the RCD ? Also has anyone got any experience of these? 3 phase 16A, 32A, 63Amp, 5 Pin CEE, RCD Protected Socket.400V-415V distro socket | eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251559291581?ul_noapp=true
I've been quoted ÂŁ240 per socket from CEF, ÂŁ180 from TLC and these come out at ÂŁ44 so massive difference. It says 380v so I'm wondering if these are designed for use on the continent? Thanks in advance.
