Working on a large house refurb and I'm faced with a Neff integrated kitchen. 8ft wide x 8ft high ,4x 2ft units full size fridge and freezer in the end units and oven/microwave and oven/coffee mc in the centre. Where do you put the local isolation? On the adjacent wall across the door way? Kitchen fitting comp want power located 6ft up behind the units. Was going to feed the ovens in 4mm radials and fridge & freezer in 2.5mm non rcd radial
I've seen one in a different house and the finish was rough and I didn't see any switches!

Are all these appliances not going to come fitted with plugs ?
If they are and the board is nearby, I would've thought no further isolation required for the majority other than at the board.!
Otherwise I would use grid switch for the various appliances. You can get them pre labelled for the various appliances and fit it above a worktop.

DB will be in a utility "cupboard" on the other side of the wall accessed through a tack room on the outside of the house so not easily reached

That sounds about right, anything that needs to be got too, especially in any form of emergency, bung it in a place that is the least accessible in the house!! Lets hope that anytime they need to access that DB, it's absolutely hissing down!! .... lol!!
