Intercom system with room to room and door entry??

Hi guys, I've been asked by a client who owns a creche to install an intercom system. The have 3 rooms ( Baby, Toddler and Pre-School) and an office. Basically what they want is and intercom unit at the front door, with a phone in each of the 4 rooms. When a parent calls to drop off or collect their child, they press a button, corresponding to their childs room (so the unit needs at least 4 buttons). The staff then answer and press a button on the phone to open the door.

On top of this, they want the ability to use the intercom phones to call from room to room. The system doesnt need to be video based, as i can install a camera to run on existing monitors in the rooms.

Does anyone know of a system that would be suitable for my needs, and if so, what is the best system to use.

A 4 way intercom system with door release is off the shelf equipment.....but i dont know of one were you can communicate between the handsets. There are however small telephone exchange systems, which can be connected to a door entry system....basically press the front door intercom, and all telephones ring and can answer the front door, and with being an exchange can dial direct to each other.
Orchid do a small 6 telephone exchange unit for £80....door entry terminal unit £160...hope this helps
