What the hell! I thought what I seen recently was bad. That is a joke.

Just last week I was out with my dad repairing a floor and when we lifted it the electrics were in some state. Bare wires Junction boxes that were smashed or in some cases some things like in picture 2.

Since I found it done a few tests to see if they were live and found that they were live and when I went to the fuse box to shut it off until we could get our electrician in the thing was looking a little bit suspicious.

Once our electrician arrived to make things safe it took us 4 hours to sort out the mess of what was supposed to be a full rewire by a qualified spark that was done a year ago.

i had a job just like this today. 30 years of bodges. walked away saying i would only get involved if i rewired it (upstairs lighting circuit)
