hello everyone.
I've got an interview tomorrow with a wireless security company. is there anyone who'd have any advice for me? such as what questions are usually asked and what would be the best answers?
I haven't had a proper interview for about 10 years due to being a subby and am really nervous.

Thanks, Nults

Questions you could get anything look up the company website and see what they are up to abit of knowledge about them will go down very well indeed.

Good luck

Chris

You will almost definitely at some point be asked "why do you want to work for us"

They will be looking for a upbeat positive response, prepare several answers so you dont get caught out.

I went for an interview about a year ago for a job to help out with these difficult times, they guy talked about himself so much during the interview I thought he was someone I would not get on with and his head was firmly inserted up his.....
Cut the story short, when he asked me the question I replied with "good point, I'll have to think about that one" after the awkward silence the interview was wrapped up.

:D Cutting. Did you get a job offer?

As the other guys have said, showing an interest in the company and job impresses the most; you could throw in a question about their products and/or customers etc (i,e. saying something like I see you use XYZ in installations, but do you ever utilise ABC)

Another classic question is; where do you see yourself in 3/5/10 years? This indicates a novice/poor interviewer because it is a nonsence question; but the stock answer is of the ilk "firmly ingratiated into the company and its procedures contributing to its success and development hopefully furthering my career in a management role working my way up within the company strucure";)

Good luck, remember to relax and most of all be yourself, cowdung in an interview will usually show through.

Why do want to work for the company ?
Well.Ive tried all the decent ones and failed and eventually I thought,"What the hell"

What sort of wage do you expect ?
Cash and the less the tax man knows about it the better

Describe positive attributes you have that would enhance the companies image ?
I would positively stop questioning the sanity of the people who already work here and

Interview is terminated at this point

Just try not to let nervousness portray a different image of yourself than you are worthy of
The worst case scenario is you dont get a job,so be cool and not aprehensive

the other classic is "what can you bring to the company ?" things like im a good team worker and Im also use to working on my own
In answer to the Why do you want to work for the company "I saw the secetary and want to NAIL her!" isnt the answer to give she may be related to the boss lol Good luck m8y
