Hi.
First post for me, now that I've been cajoled by the forum boss (?), Dan.
I've been a member for about 7 months, and it certainly helped me get NIC DI ~5 mnths ago, by providing lots of posts on real-world stuff, like whether to pull the service fuse to isolate for a new CU, without me needing to re-ask the questions.
Of course, I've seen a small amount of regs-contradicting advice here as well (from the "old dogs" ?), but filtering that out there's a load of useful info. Which is good, cos the NIC tech helpline has always evaded me.
And some "entertaining" DIY question-ers. "No, don't do it !" out loud.
Business is slow but picking up.
BTW, heard a great saying that always applies to forums :
"Punctuation is the difference between knowing your ----, and knowing you're ----".
I expect a slating for saying that. From the guilty.
Cheers,
Seens.
