Hello,

A quick g'day. My basic history is DIY home owner, general tinkerer of old machinery, moderately decent level of electrical caution and mechanical devil may care. In other words I read diagrams carefully, double check my connections, use insulated screwdrivers, and because I firmly believe in Murphy's Law, only work with a safety switch and a long stick of wood!

The MODs are excellent in this forum, if you put it in the incorrect one then they will shift it for you.
Please be aware though that the DIY sections of the forum is not open to everyone to answer. Only certain members have access to answer.
Also the more info you give at the beginning the better. Pics of stuff is also good. We all like pics.

Thanks for the welcome, I have already posted a big question.... I figure Christmas time everyone will be doing more iportant things....
And Risteard, if i find any gold it's coming your way... postage is the killer though
