introduction to forum and assessment question

Hi guys, been site member for a while, just looking, not buying!!
backround- electrical engineer HNC & stuff 54 years old
recently completed 3 years C&G 2330 elec installation night school
C&G 17th
C&G 2382-10 insp test of single phase installs
C&G PAT 2377
have worked with a friend who is nic registered doing new builds
for a while
hoping to register with with governing body soon, to do things legally.
and register work for myself.
just a question regarding assessment,
When confirming continuity of Main Eqp. bonding to gas & water,
using a wander/long lead, does the lead have to confiorm to any specifications?
I Know about nulling or test lead resistance,
GS38 regarding test leads etc. but just wonder what assessor might ask me!!

I always used a coil of 6491x 2.5mm or 1.5mm when being assesed and it was never a problem.
Got 1 of the proper wander leads on the drum now that the probes plug into.
