Hi wonder if any one can help.
Over the last few days of good weather my sma 2000 has been cutting off every day around midday (approx 6kwh) and not coming back on until the following morning.
I have 9 sharp 250 mono panels on a south facing roof in the north east of england.
According to the manual this coule be "insufficent irradiation" any ideas?

Many thanks

I would contact your installer in the first instance, I would put it down to overheating maybe. If you turn off the main isolator to the system, wait for a few mins before turning on again, will the system fire up again?

Overheating or something shading the panels?

A lot of systems have seen their efficiency reduced - my 3.75kWp system is only producing 3kW of power at peak times due to panels becoming less efficient in warmer weather.
But although systems may be producing lower peak power, they shouldn't be cutting out completely.

Do you get an error on the front of the inverter? I would say it is more likely that it is cutting out due to high grid voltage.

This could be due to a few reasons.

1. The grid voltage IS high and the DNO needs to sort it out.
2. The inverter isn't set up for G83
3. The cable supplying the inverter is too small and you are experiencing too much volt drop.

Thanks for the replies, the inverter is showing error code 301 but is not in the manual, contacted the people who make the inverter and it is a german bank hol today :/ anybody come across this?
