I went to a job we did back in the December rush today just to see how it was doing and while checking the data on Sunny explorer noticed that a couple of events which seemed unusual.

On a day in early March the L-N was swapped at midday and the PE connection was missing at the same time , so I asked a few questions and on that day the power was turned off by WPD working on nearby lines , so I presume they got the polarity wrong ,realised the mistake and corrected it, this does not seem to have affected the system for the rest of the day with the output being reasonable and, and overall totals are comparable with an almost identical install a few doors away, but I'm concerned that this may have caused some damage to the inverter internally

The main problem is there is no data recorded since the next day the system is working but when you look for data/graphs on any date there is nothing to show output levels and no events messages either which is a bit worrying as any other issues won't be noticed

I thought it might be possible that the files need to be downloaded after a certain amount of time to free up memory like with the sunnybeams and did this, even though I know other systems I've done have the data going back much further in time than the 3 months this has been running

I've contacted SMA and await a reply , has anyone else ever had a similar problem caused the same way or experienced a loss of recorded data within the inverter?
