Inverter question

Have had a quote for 3.43KW of panels with a Sunnybox 3000HF inverter. Assuming the inverter is 3KW this is less than the panels, is this ok? appreciate panels never produce what they are rated for, but what happens if the panels ever did produce more than the inverter can cope with?

3000HF looks ideal for 3.43kW of panels. To be honest with you, though, I'd make sure you get a few prices in the next few weeks. It seems likely that prices will fall so you may well get a better deal.

Had the first batch of price reduction e-mails yesterday with news of more to come.

On the brief occasion that you did out produce either the inverter will go over voltage/current and shut down, unlikely but not a problem
