Inverter Recommendations

Hello,
I am designing a PV array in Switzerland. I am using Panasonic N240 HIT modules. I have 602 modules on one roof and 731 modules on the adjacent roof. I am considering SMA TriPower 15,000TL (10 modules per string) inverters for now, however this is a quite costly option and would like to know if there is a better configuration to reduce the capital cost of the system.
(These inverters are quoted at around 22,000 British Pounds Sterling each)
Thanks.

You should install 21 panels per string - 3 strings per inverter. You can Use 20000TL it is more cheap.
You can use PowerOne 27,6 inverters even cheaper.
All strings have to be around 21 panels - depending on lower temperatures in the region.

OP is using HiT panels Pascaleto....higher voltage/current ratio than most "normal" c-Si panels.

Would definitely recommend you look at the P1 Trio units though as you might find it more economical in terms of value, and cost of BoS.

Only problem with the SMA PPP option is it is based around the 20000TLEE and that limits the panels and string design that you can use dramatically

power-one 30kW (27.4) inverters will work out cheaper than the SMA, though for the size you're at you could be better looking at one of the bigger cabinet units.

I would say that 10 or 11 PowerOne Trio 27.6 units would be ideal. Better than 1 or 2 central inverters for multiple reasons at that size a system - string flexibility, optimum MPP tracking, outdoor rated, longer warranty, better performance/efficiency, better value and ease of handling for example.

Only thing I didn't understand is way using Panasonic 240Wp. Panasonic is so expensive! And looking for cheap inverter?
You are wrong in the very beginning.

beware if your tools need "true sinewave" that's going ti be a lot more expensive than "modified sinewave"...which is essentially square wave...some AC motors don't respond well to that...
