Invertor Question

Hey all,

I am having problems finding a correct invertor for a build I am doing, I currently have a small job only 2 panles (500w in total) the Hyaundi His250MG they have max output of 8.2A but the closest invertor I can find is a mastervolt which will allow an input of 8A max.... I know its pretty doubtful that the panels will ever produce 8.2A but what would you do ? if they do go over the 8A will the invertor just stop working or will it mess it up ? if you know of another micro invertor that will take 8.2A 500w please let me know.

Just got off the phone to mastervolt people service surprisingly good… they said that technically I could use it but on a nice day if it did go over 8A the invertor would stop working…. I would still like to know if anyone knows of invertors that can take higher amps though

if it's not a south facing roof I'd not worry about it too much unless the specific roof angle meant the sun would be full on to it at some point in the year.

Would micro inverters not be an option?

I was refering to micro invertors but all the ones I have looked at seem to require a really low amount of amps

Its a flat roof with no shading in any direction so I guess i could put it in an off south position.
