I got my IOSH managing safely in the summer ... does it count as recognised prior learning in any way if i am going to start c&g 2356 or any other course for that matter .....

my cscs card has ran out also ..... can i apply for the card by simply showing them my IOSH
certificate?

1. Very doubtful. But check the QCF number of the IOSH course and check with the C&G QCF numbers, if they match you win, if they don't you don't. I know C&G too well, and i will go with NO CHANCE.

2. No, you will need to do the appropriate exam, it isn't hard, i passed it.

And good luck with the IOSH course, it is mind numbing!:hammer:

Cheers.............Howard

i meant to say I gained it last summer ..... best 4 days of my life. the hardest part was "helping" some of my colleagues on the course with there projects afterwards.

now of to google QCF numbers
