Hi Guys,

I wonder if you could help me with a couple of questions please,

Q1. List three items of equipment within an installation where an inspector would need to confirm comliance with the IP ce for basic protection.

Q2. What 3 items would be inspected say in an old peoples home with regards to, kitchen , laundry room, residents bedroom, 3 for each room.

Many Thanks

i was goiung to try an answer, but then thought........ best way to learn is to find out yourself. big difference between helping and doing his homework for him. sorry, locket, but it's better for you in the long run to do your own research. you remember things then. by all means, do as malc. says. post your answers and no doubt yo'll get contructive help.

Hi Guys,

I wonder if you could help me with a couple of questions please,

Q1. List three items of equipment within an installation where an inspector would need to confirm comliance with the IP ce for basic protection.(a) Reg 416.2.2 horizontal surface of a barrier or enclosure, (b) Reg 709.512.2.1.1 Marinas for prescence of water (c) Reg 702.512.2 Zones within rooms containing bath or shower
Advice special locations are a great place for these type of questions.

Q2. What 3 items would be inspected say in an old peoples home with regards to, kitchen , laundry room, residents bedroom, 3 for each room.
Ok this one you can take as being non domestic so (a) Kitchen Reg 537.3.1.1 note 2 switching off for mechanical maintenace. (b) Laundry Reg 522.3.1 Selection of installtion for water or high humidity. (c) Bedrooms Reg 411.3.3 sockets for the use of non skilled or supervised person.

Many Thanks

Locket

Now that was a good attempt
