IR Cassette Wiring

Hi folks, long time reader first time poster. But I am stuck on this!

I usually wire my own inline fans etc but I just bought an Infrared heater cassette to cure paint, lacquers etc and I am unfamiliar with the connections it came with. Can anyone identify them and or explain how I can get this wired so I can just put a mains lead on and run it from a plug?

It says it it is 500w 240v does that mean it can be wired straight through? Or do I need some osrt of transormer or switch? I emailed the company I bought it off but have had no response. And absolutely no literature whatsoever came with it.

I know it's abit of a specialist subject, but any help or pointers in the right direction would be swell.

looks to me mate thats its just live and neutral to the white cables and an earth to the bolt sticking out from the back.

Those bolts seem to be for mounting, but i wouldl'nt be happy unless i had an earth to his appliance, and from your pic, that seems like the best place to attach one.

I wouldnt put a plugtop on this, as those leads are covered in heat resistand insulation for a reason. (unless you are going to mount the unit on the wall, and then connect a mains lead with plugtop in a junction box of some sort.

I woulnt use that heater as a free standing unit on a table ect!

This unit will get VERY hot so I will be fabricating some sort of metal stand for this, much like an adjustable steel desk lamp or something similar, with an inline switch near the base if possible. But I ususally always have some sort of wiring diagram or instructions to on, I'm just in the dark on this one so your help is greatly appreciated.
